We are Mark and Pauline, a husband and wife team. We are both disabled and Mark has been a carer for Pauline for the last 10 years. We both have to use mobility equipment to help with getting around.
Over the last 10 years we have come across all the barriers and obstacles faced by disabled people in Wyre Forest and we want to change this for our community.
I am really passionate about helping vulnerable groups so we have a fairer society and a stronger community, that's what we all deserve.
I have seen the struggles that vulnerable groups have to face and I want to change that, everybody needs a sense of belonging and together it's possible.
Disability is all about understanding the limitations and making allowances
Equity is all about balance, fairness, opportunity and support for everyone
Diversity is all about being together and the presence of differences
Inclusion is all about respect and a genuine sense of belonging and value.
Everyone is struggling with the cost of living crisis we want to help and support the disabled, elderly and families in our community, anyway we can. We will be applying to public bodies for grants and funding so we can make life a little easier and less worry.
With energy and water costs spiralling out of control and many disabled, elderly and families struggling to make ends meet in our community. We want to help you by supporting energy bills for heating and water bills for water at times of need.
Inflation has hit most families hard and the cost of food has sky rocketed making even the essentials out of reach to many disabled, elderly and families in our community. We want to help by providing food parcels and emergency supplies if that's what you need.
Nowadays there are so many essentials that we need and not everyone can afford to replace things when an emergency happens. We want to help you when things do go wrong whether it's clothing, an appliance or broadband bills, we may be able to help with essentials.
Mark is fully qualified in computing achieving a B-Tec level 3 in software development at Worcester College of Technology and a BSc Honors in web and graphic design, database management and system analysis at University of Worcester.
I want to share my experience and would like to run weekly digital learning classes for our local community, which includes disabled, elderly, families and LGBTQ starting at the beginner level covering staying safe, using the internet, email, FaceTime, social media etc for a more diverse and inclusive community and a better place to live.
We would also like to run an advice centre for local community to provide help and support for everyone in our community with their benefits; PIP, DLA, ESA, HB, UC and services OT, DFG, and Motability and Blue Badge forms, we have been through it all and it could make life a little easier.
Please feel free to contact us using the form below.
